Hello on the other side of Digital Divide... Not everyone has broadband out there. You could convey the same message in a smaller window, making it possible for the other half to see these slideshows properly. Or is this intended for the US and the Western world only?

I was completely floored by this essay. Fresh, smart, potent. It looks like it provoked some other folks too. This was the first response (on Insight):

I've argued for a while that because of the internet photojournalism should strive, and it's pieces like this - the combination of images and sound (with some smart editing) - that makes me think that I might actually be right. I'm very glad Magnum is producing these kinds of pieces now (and no, Alec, didn't make me write this so I could make up for "dangling the meat" the other day ;-)).

i thankfully know little about palins positions, (?), although saying she is disliked for her religion is like saying bush became unpopular for his shoe choice.. irrelevant..
