In 2014, large parts of England have endured the wettest January since records began according to new figures released by the Met Office. The record rainfall has meant many areas including complete villages and vast areas of farmland have been flooded, with over 5000 homes and businesses affected. Peter Marlow documented the devastation in both the Somerset and Thames Valley areas.
